Paris was the team's final stop before heading home. The team includes Denis Paul, team leader, Mariah Anna Akani, Soustain Chigalu, Milton Kamwendo and Nilza Trindade.

They began their journey in San Antonio at the District Conference. The team toured the Alamo, sang on the Riverwalk and danced at Joe's Crab Shack. From there, they traveled to Tyler, Longview, Marshall, W. Bowie, New Boston and Texarkana. Next, they went to Antlers and Idabel before finally making their way to Paris on Saturday, May 22nd. Once settled at their Host homes, they did some shopping before attending a "Fish Fry" at the Fendley Farm. Members from both Paris clubs along with the Africa team enjoyed good food, fellowship and Blue Grass music. It was a wonderful beginning to their stay here. Sunday, they went on a trolley tour of Paris. Monday was a vocational day for the team and they made a presentation to our club at noon and ended the day with a "Farewell" Dinner at Magel's. It was an exciting time for all that attended. As I write this article, the team is headed to Ft. Worth for their final day in Texas. They will leave on Wednesday morning for Africa. What an awesome experience this has been for everyone that had a part in any aspect of their time here and I hope that it will encourage our club to be more involved in the GSE program in the future.
