"Service Above Self" is the Rotary Motto.  Our Club's goal is to conduct, sponsor or participate in one Service project monthly to benefit our community and/or our extended community.  Our direct participation and service has been limited over the last year due to COVID-19 situation, however we have continued to serve our community in various ways as summarized below.

Rotary Club of Paris United Service projects and participation to the Paris community since July has included: 
  • Paris Independence Day Fireworks - Gold Sponsorship by the Club
  • Picnic Tables for Pump Track – Club donation for tables at the track 
  • Senior Shut-Ins Support – the Club and members provided cards and activity booklets and delivered to senior centers
  • Tour de Paris – Rotary Rides with Tailored Rides - Club members participated in the ride and raised funds for Tailored Rides
  • Stuffing Challenge – Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club challenge to provide stuffing to the Downtown Food Pantry
  • Salvation Army Christmas Meals – Club donation to provide Christmas meals to less fortunate
  • Bell Ringing – Club members rang the bells at WalMart 
  • Dictionaries for 3rd grade students – Club donation, member participation and delivery to all public elementary schools (see photo)
  • Renewed Sponsorship of Optimist Club baseball field - our Club banner hangs on Field #4
