Leadership and Public Speaking Skills -There are opportunities to develop and enhance leadership and communication skills as an officer, program lead, and speaker.

Community Awareness, Education, Service - Lunch meeting speakers provide information on local businesses, services, and activities in the area.

Opportunities for Young Adults - Paris United conducts an annual Youth Leadership (RYLA) camp for selected high school students to develop and enhance their leadership skills.

International Service - Supply support to identified projects worldwide, and the opportunity to take part directly.  Polio eradication has been a major Rotary effort. Rotary Foundation contributed over $100M in 2021-2022 to the seven areas of focus. (Charity Navigator 4-star rating for 14 years).

The Rotary Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, and do provides a code to live by –
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
